A Brief history of the violin

It is believed that Andrea Amati of Cremona, built first known form of the violin sometime between 1511-1577 but they where only 3 stringed.
The first four stringed violin as we know it today was invented by Andrea Amati of Cremona in 1555.

Anita is a passionate believer in sharing the highest quality of music making to the local community. She's currently teaching at The Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London as well as offering specialist music teaching in five local primary schools in and around the Canterbury area. 


Every session she brings total commitment and a sense of joy and magic to all her musical experiences, be that in a teaching or performing context.

Mo studied Piano and Violin at the Royal College of Music in London and loves Classical Music, but right from the beginning of his career he actively sought out and performed with musicians from all genres from Jazz to Rock Music. 

He's recorded extensively and compose and arrange music for students and fellow musicians. Bringing a rigorous approach to the development of technique on violin and piano but love to explore a wide repertoire with everyone he works with.
