Elaine Round is a versatile flautist with a wide range of experience with playing in many styles and capacities. 

She completed her classical music degree at University of Surrey in 2001. Whilst there, she specialised in performance, performing solos, chamber music and in the university orchestra. Shortly after she graduated, she performed the Nielsen Flute Concerto with Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra and played for Epsom Symphony Orchestra, Croydon Symphony Orchestra and Thames Philharmonia, as well performing a variety of chamber music.

Since this, Elaine has explored many different musical styles - composing, improvising, recording and performing music with a wide range of musicians, forming many diverse projects and bands. She now works as a freelance performer/composer, collaborating with many music producers internationally, providing recordings for them, contributing in the composition and making regular releases. She is a successful music producer in her own right and performs live flute to her own compositions in this country and abroad, whilst releasing her own music. Aside from this, Elaine works as a session musician and is hired regularly for occasions such as weddings, funerals and other events, concerts, student music projects and has appeared on 'Don't Tell The Bride'. She also works with videographers, providing music for commercial videos.
